Kick-Off Meeting of the the Sign Language in Traffic and Driver Training (DEAF DRIVERS) Project,was held at Dikmen Nevzat Ayaz Girls' Technical and Vocational High School in Ankara. During the meeting decisions were made regarding the implementation of project activities, the project action plan was revised, and strategies for implementing the activities were determined. A wide range of topics were discussed and decisions were made, including general project management, the activities and division of labor to be carried out by the partners, the project action plan, budget allocation, dissemination issues, the project website and logo and motto development, and the organization of training and meetings. As part of the project, it was decided to begin activities within the scope of the 3rd Work Package in the first phase. The TUSEKON coordinator decided to design at least three (3) activities for the eight modules to be prepared as training programs with the contributions of all partners, and to design an activity template for the activities. The modules planned for the project are presented below.

Furthermore, it was decided that the activities to be prepared as part of the meeting would meet the learning outcomes and training objectives stipulated in EU legislation and Turkish training programs. All partners would adapt the prepared modules and digital training materials (activities) to their own national curricula.
